The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine showed the use of M712 Copperhead laser projectiles against the Russian Federation
The Armed Forces of Ukraine actively use M712 Copperhead laser-guided projectiles, which ensure high accuracy of damage. About it on February 15 reported The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in the X social network.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade “Magura” used the M712 Copperhead in combat conditions for the first time.
“Laser targeting allows uncompromisingly accurate destruction of enemy headquarters, ammunition depots, strongpoints and camouflaged vehicles,” – noted in the department.
The Ministry of Defense also emphasized that “there is no salvation for the occupier”, and the key advantage of such shells is their immunity from jamming.
The published video shows how the 155 mm ammunition was fired from the American M109A6 Paladin self-propelled howitzer.
The latest weapons allow the Ukrainian military to effectively destroy high-priority enemy targets, which strengthens the capabilities of the Armed Forces on the battlefield.
