The Ministry of Education of Poland will analyze the situation with Ukrainian students in connection with the mobilization in Ukraine

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland will consider the issue of Ukrainian students staying in the country in the context of the recent adoption of the mobilization law in Ukraine.

This was announced on the air by TOK FM radio head of the department Dariusz Vechorek.

The Minister noted that consultations will be held with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on this matter.

It is necessary to analyze it. At the moment, we do not see a particular threat,” – said Vechorek. “We will probably have to talk to the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine about this and see how the Ukrainian authorities will solve the issue with the students. Since they started their studies in Poland and are in their second or third year, it would be good if they could finish it “, he added.

Wiechorek also reported that about 50,000 students from Ukraine study in Poland. They have passports, student visas and residence permits in the Republic of Poland, the validity period of which is extended in voivodeship offices.
