The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland called on its citizens to immediately leave the territory of Belarus
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland urged its citizens to urgently leave the territory of Belarus. This is stated in a statement issued by the Polish Embassy in Belarus.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on all citizens of Poland who are still in Belarus to immediately leave the territory of the country by available private and commercial routes,” the diplomatic mission said in a statement.
Poles are also advised to refrain from any trips to Belarus “due to the escalation of tensions, the ongoing war in the region and repeated unjustified arrests of Polish citizens”.
“In the event of a significant deterioration of the security situation, closure of borders or other unforeseen circumstances, evacuation may become significantly more difficult or impossible,” the embassy emphasized.
We would like to remind you that on September 10, Poland temporarily closed border crossings with Belarus during the “Zapad-2025” military exercises with the participation of Russian troops. Traffic across the border was restored only on September 25.
