The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that Ukrainians leave Israel and Iran as soon as possible
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that citizens of Ukraine leave the territory of Israel and Iran as soon as possible until the situation in the region stabilizes. About this informs press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
“In connection with the significant deterioration of the security situation in the Middle East, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly recommends that citizens of Ukraine leave the territory of the State of Israel and the Islamic Republic of Iran as soon as possible until the situation in the region stabilizes.”, says the message.
All citizens of Ukraine who are in these countries are advised to remain vigilant, to carefully follow the messages of the competent authorities of the host countries, not to ignore the air warning signals, to follow shelter, to observe security measures and to always carry identification documents.
The embassies of Ukraine in Israel and Iran are forming evacuation lists and working out possible options for the evacuation of citizens. Information about evacuation options is available on the information resources of Ukrainian embassies.

It will be recalled that on June 13, Israel carried out a series of powerful strikes on objects on the territory of Iran, in particular on those related to the nuclear program and military infrastructure.
The aim of the attack was to disable key elements of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, ballistic missile production facilities, and other military facilities. In response, Iran launched several rockets on the territory of Israel in the evening of June 13.
On June 15, as a result of a massive missile attack by Iran on Israel, five citizens of Ukraine, including three children, were killed.
