The names of the Ukrainian owners of the Coral sanatorium in Crimea, who received funding from the Russian Federation, became known: the investigation of “Schemes”
According to lawyers, such actions should be considered as collaborative activities. Also, not all founders of Russian companies are in a hurry to recognize themselves as founders.
The Ukrainian company “Coral Sanatorium” has a clone that was registered in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation in the occupied Crimea. About this informs investigative journalist project “Scheme”.
In particular, in a joint investigation by the media and the publication of the Bureau, it is said that the owners of this sanatorium are the ex-wife of the former regional manager Elbrus Tedeev, the wife of the president of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management Rostislav Shtokin, and the Belarusian wrestler Viktor Kreydich, known for his pro-Russian views.
In a conversation with journalists, the lawyers said that it should be considered a collaborative activity. At the same time, not all founders of the Russian firm recognize themselves as founders, claiming that they could have forged the documents.
Sanatorium “Coral” is a six-story building of pale pink color in the private sector of Yevpatoria, in the village of Zaozerne.
The mass media note that in 2005, Koral was purchased by a “private enterprise – the BNA firm” from Rivne, and five years later, the brides of two friends became its co-owners. Faina Tedeeva was at that time the wife of People’s Deputy from the Party of Regions Elbrus Tedeeva and Nataliya Shchokina was the wife of the president of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (IAUP) Rostyslav Shchokin.
The investigation indicated that Tedeev and Shtokin have common interests – sports and nepotism. The first is an Olympic champion in freestyle wrestling, the second is a master of sports and president of the Kyiv Wrestling Association.
Faina Tedeeva told “Schem” journalists that she broke up with ex-regional nine years ago. At the same time, she confirmed his long-standing friendship with Rostislav Shtokin: “they are godfathers, the ex-husband baptized their (Shtokin’s — ed.) child.”
In addition to Shkokina and Tedeeva, since 2010 the co-founder of the BNA company has also been the Belarusian Viktor Kreydich. He is a sports functionary: a master of sports in wrestling, a prize-winner of the USSR championships. Currently, he is the deputy head of the Belarusian Wrestling Federation.
Rostyslav Shchokin told “Schems” that Kreidich is a person with whom “at one time he was familiar”, and the family has not maintained relations with him for a long time. However, journalists emphasize that the Belarusian wrestler continued to be Natalya Shtokina’s business partner in Ukraine almost until the end of 2022.
Analytical group YouControl reports that Shkokina remained a co-owner of Sanatorium Koral LLC (the name of the BNA company that owns the sanatorium after the 2013 renaming) directly until November 2022.
