The Netherlands allocates 10 million euros to support Ukraine’s digital resilience
The Dutch government has decided to provide Ukraine with financial assistance in the amount of 10 million euros to strengthen digital resilience and increase the level of cyber protection of the state. These funds will be used within the framework of the “Ukrainian Cyber Program”, which has been implemented since 2022. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
The allocated funds will be used to modernize the cyber infrastructure of state institutions, purchase modern software and hardware for government bodies and critical infrastructure facilities. Part of the funding will also be used to investigate cyber incidents, counter cyber attacks and eliminate their consequences.
Part of the funds will go to support projects within the Tallinn Mechanism, an international initiative aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s cyber resilience and digital security. 13 countries have already joined this initiative: Great Britain, Denmark, Estonia, Italy, Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Poland, the USA, France, Sweden and Finland.
