The new commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces spoke about the conflicts in the military brigades

The commander of the United Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the commander of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group of troops, Brigadier General Andriy Hnatov, spoke about the conflict situations in the military brigades, which became known to the general public.

IN interview Hnatov admitted to the publication “Glavkom” that the military may have certain “non-standard issues”, but stressed that Ukrainians should not solve them by publishing them on social networks, especially during hostilities. He noted that this is a complex topic with many sore points.

Hnatov emphasized that the Statute of the Armed Forces of Ukraine clearly spells out the duties of commanders to know the needs and requests of personnel, as well as to make decisions based on their statements, complaints and other appeals. In the event that the raised issue does not fall within the competence of the immediate superior, the serviceman has the right to appeal to the next immediate superior.

“The Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defense have “hot lines” where numerous issues are resolved,”– noted Hnatov.

He added that every commander or commander has mechanisms and structures that facilitate communication with subordinates.

According to the general, commanders use various means to study the moral and psychological state of servicemen, receive various data and reports on the state of affairs in units, in particular in brigades, as well as combat reports.

We will remind that in June, the chief of staff of the “Azov” brigade, Bohdan Krotevych, stated about the incompetent command of the troops by General Yury Sodol, which led to the loss of territories and the death of Ukrainian soldiers. In response to these accusations, on June 24, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi fired Sodol and appointed Brigadier General Andriy Hnatov as the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
