The plane that crashed in Kazakhstan was shot down by Russian air defense forces: CPD

The Center for Combating Disinformation stated that the Azerbaijan Airlines plane, which crashed in Kazakhstan, was shot down by a Russian anti-aircraft missile system. About this reported Andriy Kovalenko, head of the CPD.
“The Embraer 190 plane of the Azerbaijani airline, which was flying from Baku to Grozny, was shot down by a Russian air defense system”, – says the message.
Kovalenko noted that Russia should have closed the airspace over Grozny, but did not do so. As a result of such actions, 38 people died.
“The plane was damaged by the Russians and was sent to Kazakhstan instead of making an emergency landing in Grozny and saving people’s lives”, he emphasized.
We will remind that the Embraer 190 plane of the Azerbaijan Airlines airline company, which was flying from Baku to Grozny, crashed near Aktau, the administrative center of the Mangystau region of Kazakhstan.
