The richest companies in Ukraine are registered in Kyiv

May 23, 2025 made public the updated Opendatabot Index is an annual ranking of the 210 largest companies in Ukraine by financial indicators. Of them, 129 companies are registered in Kyiv, which is 61.4% of the total number. The share of Kyiv companies in the Index is growing for the third year in a row: in 2023 there were 124 (59%), in 2024 – 127 (60.5%), in 2025 – 129 (61.4%).

Among the largest companies in terms of turnover, the D.Trading company ranks first with an income of 215.84 billion hryvnias. The second place belongs to Energoatom – 207.03 billion hryvnias, the third – to Naftogaz of Ukraine – 157.85 billion hryvnias. The gas supply company Naftogaz Trading occupies the fourth position with an income of 124.88 billion hryvnias.

The ten largest companies registered in Kyiv also include:

– Privatbank — UAH 110.51 billion

– Ukrnafta — UAH 105.2 billion

– Ukrzaliznytsia — UAH 102.87 billion

– Ukrenergo — UAH 101.12 billion

– Ukrgazvydobuvannya — UAH 100.6 billion

– Silpo-Food — UAH 93.02 billion

Compared to 2024, the composition of the top 10 has not changed. Compared to 2023, the Kernel-Trade company dropped out of the top ten, its place was taken by Ukrzaliznytsia, which currently occupies the seventh position.

The largest number of Kyiv companies in the rating work in three industries: telecommunications, banking services and gambling. Each of them has 10 companies registered in the capital.

9 Kyiv companies from the Index work in the field of television, radio and publishing. In 2025, 9 more companies are represented in the category of professional, scientific and technical activities, which for the first time entered the top five industries in terms of the number of Kyiv representatives. In 2023, the fifth place in the number of companies belonged to the transport and postal sector.
