In today’s world, where the flow of information increases every day, the analysis of the frequency of requests for the word “peace” on the Internet, in particular in the speeches of state leaders, mass media, and social networks, becomes an important indicator of public attitudes and priorities. In 2024, this word became especially popular, reflecting the global aspirations of the world’s humanity for stability and security.
AI “FAKT” conducted an analysis of the frequency of statements about peace, which used data from the main official websites of politicians, news agencies and social networks. More than a hundred speeches, interviews and publications of world leaders for the period from January to June 2024 were studied. Below are the results of this analysis.
The number of mentions of the word “peace” in the official speeches of the leaders of the states:
- US President Joe Biden: 45 times in 20 speeches.
- German Chancellor Olaf Scholz: 30 times in 15 speeches.
- French President Emmanuel Macron: 35 times in 18 speeches.
- UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres: 50 times in 22 speeches.
- President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi: 40 times in 20 speeches.
- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba: 25 times in 12 speeches.
- Russian President Vladimir Putin: 35 times in 18 speeches.
- Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov: 30 times in 15 speeches.

Traditional and online Ukrainian and international mass media play the most important role in shaping public opinion about peace and informing the population about important events related to peace and security.
