In the evening of April 10, the Russian army hit the Dnieper with a missile. As a result of the impact, a man died, there are also injured. About this reported head of Dnipropetrovsk OVA Serhiy Lysak.
“It is known that 5 people were injured as a result of a missile attack on the Dnipro River. All of them are hospitalized. A 55-year-old woman is in a serious condition. The rest are in a moderate condition. One person died. Rescuers continue to put out the fire that broke out at the infrastructure facility.” – says the message.
Later, Lysak clarified that a 42-year-old man died as a result of the shelling. The number of wounded has increased to 8.
Regional Prosecutor’s Office opened pre-trial investigation under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Rescue workers and law enforcement officers are working at the scene, documenting the aftermath of the attack.
Mayor of Dnipro Boris Filatov reported about the nature of the affected object:
“The bastards hit the napkins and diapers warehouse with a rocket. That’s why it’s burning so badly. No “NATO officers” and “mercenaries”. I personally spoke with the owner. This is terror. Undisguised terror. They just stupidly hit diapers and playgrounds with ballistics.”
Director of the enterprise Andriy Zdesenko explained, that a direct hit completely destroyed a part of warehouses with personal hygiene products and household goods:
“Friends, you have already seen the news – today a direct hit completely destroyed part of our warehouses of Biosphere Corporation in Dnipro. We are currently working on extinguishing the fire to prevent the fire from spreading to our productions – our heart and soul of the company.”
Rescuers continue to extinguish the fire at the infrastructure facility. Representatives of the Housing and Communal Administration of the Left Bank Administration reported on the termination of water supply to housing estates Prydniprovskyi and Chapli:
“Due to the urgent need and taking urgent measures to eliminate the fire, the water supply to the subscribers of the above-mentioned residential areas will be temporarily disconnected! Firefighters need a lot of water! Be understanding. Water supply will be restored as soon as possible.”
