The Russian Federation hit a civilian enterprise in Kharkiv: a large-scale fire broke out

On the night of February 2, Russian troops attacked a civilian enterprise in Kharkiv, causing a large-scale fire. About this reported State Service for Emergency Situations of Ukraine.

According to official data, the Russian Federation struck with the help of an unmanned aerial vehicle, which aimed at the territory of the enterprise located in the Slobid district of the city. As a result of the attack, a production and warehouse building caught fire, the burning area was 2 thousand square meters.

Emergency services immediately arrived at the scene. Extinguishing the fire required significant efforts: 45 rescuers and 8 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. Firefighters promptly localized the fire at 1:27 a.m., but work on its complete elimination is still ongoing.

According to preliminary information, there were no casualties as a result of the shelling.

A man and a woman were also injured as a result of being hit by an enemy drone in Lubotyn, Kharkiv region. They received burns as a result of the fire and were hospitalized. About this reported Oleg Sinegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, in Telegram.

 

According to him, the blow damaged a private house in which two children were at the time of the attack. They were not injured. Currently, emergency services are working at the scene, eliminating the consequences of the shelling.
