The American company SpaceX has announced the beginning of booking seats for flights to the earth’s orbit. You can also sign up for flights to the International Space Station and even to Mars.
Elon Musk’s company plans to deliver the first tourists to Earth’s orbit by the end of 2024. The duration of such a tour will be from 3 to 6 days. The company will transport from 2 to 4 passengers at a time. The flights will be carried out on the Dragon spacecraft.
“Dragon is capable of transporting up to 7 passengers to and from Earth orbit. It is the only flying spacecraft capable of returning significant volumes of cargo to Earth, and the first private spacecraft to deliver people to the space station,” – reported in SpaceX.
From 2025, tourist trips to the International Space Station are planned. The duration of such tours will be up to 10 days.
SpaceX also plans to organize tours to the Moon and Mars in the future. It is worth noting that 24 people have visited the moon throughout history. And only 12 people directly stepped on the surface of the natural satellite of the Earth. The last man visited the moon in 1972.
