Ukraine completed the screening process with the European Union within the negotiation Cluster 3 “Competitiveness and inclusive development”.
“The delegation of Ukraine in Brussels (Belgium) has completed bilateral screening meetings with the European Commission under Chapter 16 “Taxation”. This chapter is final within Cluster 3 “Competitiveness and inclusive development”. Thus, Ukraine has completed screening with the European Union under four of the six negotiating Clusters”, – says the message of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.
During the meeting, the Ukrainian delegation presented achievements in the areas of direct taxation, administrative cooperation, IT systems, as well as anti-corruption initiatives.
“The next step: Ukraine will start bilateral meetings with the European Commission under Cluster 4 “Green Agenda and Sustainable Connection”. The meetings will take place in June-July 2025″, – added in the Office.
We will remind you that on May 14, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the road maps necessary for the opening of the first Cluster “Basics of Accession” within the framework of pre-accession negotiations with the EU. And on May 30, the government approved the negotiating positions of Ukraine under Cluster 2 “Internal Market” and Cluster 6 “External Relations”.
