A single digital platform for advanced training of teachers will appear in Ukraine
A single digital platform for advanced training subjects and teaching staff will appear in Ukraine. The Cabinet of Ministers has approved amendments to Resolution No. 800, which regulates the process of advanced training of teaching and scientific and pedagogical personnel. This decision will make the system of professional development of educators more transparent and convenient, reports the press service of the Ministry of Education.
“This decision is the first step towards implementing the policy “Money follows the teacher”. The next stages are approval of the resolution on the pilot project and presentation of the platform, the message says.
All institutions that conduct advanced training will enter information about their curricula, issued certificates, as well as data on licenses and accreditations into the unified state platform for professional development.
The document clearly defines the range of entities that can conduct advanced training: these are educational institutions and their structural divisions, scientific institutions, legal entities, as well as individual entrepreneurs who have the right to conduct relevant educational activities.
In addition, supervision has been officially recognized as one of the forms of advanced training. Up to 30 hours of annual work with a supervisor will now be counted as part of the professional development of a pedagogical employee.
