The State Energy Inspectorate announced a check of the fairness of the blackout schedules

Most complaints come from Dnipropetrovsk region, so they will start checking it first.

The State Inspectorate for Energy Supervision will conduct a detailed review of the schedules of hourly outages and the fair distribution of electricity in the regions. About this stated the head of the State Energy Inspection Ruslan Slobodian on the air of the telethon “Edyny Novyny”.

He emphasized that the department constantly monitors the application of schedules and closely monitors citizens’ appeals regarding the unfair distribution of electricity.

“We have already identified several areas where an in-depth inspection will take place in the near future. On the ground, it will be studied how exactly the distribution system operator followed the principle of social justice during the distribution of electricity.”Slobodian noted.

He also reported that Dnipropetrovsk region is currently the leader in terms of the number of complaints regarding unfair distribution of electricity, so an in-depth inspection will begin from there. After this region, similar audits will be conducted in another 5-6 regions. At the same time, the head of the State Energy Inspectorate reminded that hourly shutdown schedules can be violated due to emergency shutdowns caused, among other things, by heat.

“At the same time, there are reasonable suspicions that some operators of the distribution system (oblenergo) did not always correctly apply the schedules of hourly outages. We will carefully check this.”Slobodian concluded.
