The Ukraine-NATO Council will meet on May 21 in Sweden
The Ukraine-NATO Council meeting will be held on May 21 in Sweden. It will be held in the format of an informal dinner with the participation of the foreign ministers of the Alliance member states. This is stated in the program of the meeting of the heads of foreign ministries of NATO countries, published on the bloc’s website.
The meeting of foreign ministers will be held on May 21-22 in Helsingborg, Sweden. On the first day, at 5:15 p.m. local time, a reception for the heads of foreign affairs ministries is planned, during which an “informal dinner for members of the NATO-Ukraine Council” will be held. It will be organized by the Swedish Foreign Minister, Maria Malmer Stenergard.
The event will also be attended by Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia.
On the second day of the meeting, only one session of the North Atlantic Council in the “32” format, i.e. with the participation of only the Alliance member states, is planned. After that, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will hold a press conference, which will conclude the summit.
