The Ukrainian manufacturer of the “Flamingo” Fire Point will open a factory in Denmark

The Ukrainian defense company Fire Point, which produces the Flamingo missile, will open a factory in Denmark. It will be engaged in the production of solid rocket fuel. This was announced by the Minister of Trade and Industry of Denmark, Morten Bjodskov, and the Minister of Defense, Troels Lund Poulsen, reports fejlek.tv2.dk.

This will be the first known case when a Ukrainian defense enterprise is expanding its activities on the territory of the kingdom.

“Ukraine needs more, and they need it faster. That is why we can now invite the first Ukrainian defense company to produce products here in Denmark. This is the first time when it will be relevant for Ukraine to establish defense production outside of Ukraine”, – stated Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.

The company will be located near Skridstrup in South Jutland. According to DR, production will be directly across the fence from Skridstrup Air Force Base, where Danish F-35 fighter jets are stationed.

Minister of Industry and Trade Morten Bjodskov emphasized that the launch of production of Ukrainian rocket fuel in South Jutland will also create new jobs.

“The production of Fire Point also opens up opportunities for the creation of several hundred jobs. The cooperation between the Danish and Ukrainian defense industries will be strengthened, and, just as importantly, it will also open up avenues for cooperation between the Danish and Ukrainian business communities”, – explained Bjodskov.

Ukrainian company Fire Point is expected to start production near Skridstrup already in December 2025, writes fejlka.tv2.dk. Especially for work on the Danish market, Fire Point created the company FPRT, which has already received a local CVR registration number and launched the website fprt.dk.
