Ukrainian marketplace for finding medicines in pharmacies Liki24.com has officially started work in Great Britain. About this announced general director and co-owner of the startup Anton Avrynsky.
According to Avrynskyi, the launch became possible after six years of preparation and two months of testing.
“Britain is a mature e-commerce market, our first outside the EU and one of the largest in the world. The demand is also obvious, Avrynsky emphasized.
He also noted that some users have already made five or more orders, and air delivery within one or two days has become especially popular. The service team quickly resolved issues with licensing, currency transactions and integration with international logistics companies, including UPS.
Let us remind you that Liki24 was founded in 2017 by Anton Avrynskyi, Dmitry Lyatambur, Sergey Fadeev, Sergey Klebanov and Volodymyr Zubenko. In Ukraine, the company cooperated with more than 12,000 pharmacies, where customers could order medicines or order them with delivery. Among the partner networks are ANC, 9-1-1 Pharmacy, Good Morning Pharmacy, Traveller. and others.
Liki24 services are used by more than 2.5 million people, and the site and mobile applications are visited by more than 3 million users every month. More than 13,000 sellers are available on the platform. In July of this year, the company attracted $9 million in investments as part of the Series A round. Funding was provided by Ukrainian funds u.ventures, TA Ventures, iClub, N1 Ventures, SID Venture Partners, DniproVC, as well as Kazakhstan’s MA7 Ventures.
