The Verkhovna Rada can pass a law that will allow men to be fined for violating the rules of military registration
According to “Judicial and legal newspaper”, the Verkhovna Rada is preparing to adopt draft law No. 10379, which provides for men to be fined for violating the rules of military registration without drawing up a protocol. This law was recommended for adoption by the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Law Enforcement.
The law is designed to simplify the procedure for prosecution for violations of military accounting rules. According to its text, the protocol will not be drawn up in the event of the commission of administrative offenses provided for by Articles 210 and 210-1 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses during a special period.
This applies to cases when:
- The man did not update his data in the military register;
- Did not inform the TCC about the change of personal data (if they are not in the electronic registers);
- Did not appear on summons;
- Committed another violation provided for by these articles.
It is important to note that a fine can be imposed on a man without his knowledge if there is confirmation that he received a summons.
