Trains to Sloviansk and Kramatorsk suspended in Donetsk region due to danger

Due to the security threat, the movement of trains and electric trains to the Donetsk region has been temporarily suspended – in particular, to Sloviansk and Kramatorsk. This was reported by the head of the OVA Filashkin.

“A difficult but important decision was made jointly with Ukrzaliznytsia – we are temporarily restricting the movement of trains in the Kramatorsk direction to the borders of the Kharkiv region. The decision is dictated by security factors, so passengers of all 5 long-distance trains in the Kramatorsk direction receive detailed notifications about the final station in the UZ application directly on the day of departure, — the message says.

Currently, bus shuttles have been organized that will run between Kramatorsk, Sloviansk and the temporary final station. Temporary restrictions also apply to suburban services in the Donetsk region, in particular on the Bantysheve – Kramatorsk and Sloviansk – Raihorodok routes.

“Our conductors and station employees help passengers navigate the place and accompany them during transfers. Passenger safety is our priority. We are closely monitoring the situation and will resume traffic as soon as it becomes possible, added in “Ukrzaliznytsia”.
