On Easter night, Russian troops shelled residential areas of the city of Kharkiv. The private sector has been attacked by drones. The explosions and fires caused by them injured 5 people, including one child.
“Residential buildings and other outbuildings were damaged by the explosion. Fires broke out at two addresses. Outbuildings, a garage and a car on a total area of about 200 square meters were on fire. As a result of the shelling, 5 people were injured, one of them was a child,” – reported in The main department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
In addition, during the day from May 4 to 5, the rescuers of the Kharkiv Garrison of the State Emergency Service made 37 operational trips, of which:
- 27 – to eliminate fires, 11 of which were caused by enemy shelling;
- 1 – for emergency rescue and other urgent work;
- 1 – to help the population;
- 8 – other departures.
The pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service of Kharkiv region have removed and defused 82 units of explosive objects over the past day.
