Trump closed the southern border of the United States

US President Donald Trump signed an executive order that temporarily prohibits the physical entry of foreigners into the country through the southern border. This information was published on the official website of the White House.

The statement said Trump, using his authority under the Immigration and Nationality Act and the U.S. Constitution, has directed the Departments of Homeland Security, Justice and the Department of State to take all necessary steps to immediately deport illegal immigrants attempting to enter the country through the southern border. .

The justification for such a decision states that some states, such as Texas, have previously appealed to the federal authorities for protection against the mass influx of illegal immigrants. However, the Biden administration failed to provide this protection, resulting in significant financial losses for local budgets. Trump has stressed that he has the legal authority to prevent further illegal immigration across the southern border.

It will be recalled that the USA borders Mexico in the south. It was previously reported that an additional thousand soldiers are planned to be sent to this border to increase security.
