Trump criticizes France and Britain for insufficient support for the US in the Middle East

On March 31, Donald Trump again spoke harshly against leading European allies – France and Great Britain, accusing them of insufficient support for American actions in the Middle East. He wrote about this on the social network Truth Social.

In his post, Trump expressed dissatisfaction with the actions of the French authorities, stating that they did not allow planes with military cargo for Israel to fly through their airspace.

“France has shown itself to be very unhelpful towards the “Iranian executioner”, who, fortunately, was eliminated! The US will remember this,” wrote Trump.

He also spoke harshly about London. Commenting on the difficulties in supplying jet fuel through the blocked Strait of Hormuz, Trump reproached Britain for its unwillingness to join in overthrowing the Iranian regime.

“I have a suggestion: first, buy from the US, we have plenty of it (jet fuel), and second, have some belated courage, go to the Strait and just take it. You will have to start learning to fight on your own, the US will no longer be there to help you, just as you were not there for us. Iran is essentially destroyed. The hardest part is done. Go and take your oil!”, – wrote the head of the White House.

The day before, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that after the end of the war with Iran The United States is likely to have to reconsider its relationship with NATO. He called the “lack of support” from the alliance during the conflict in the Middle East “very disappointing.”
