Trump says ‘many elements’ of Ukraine peace deal have already been agreed with Putin
US President Donald Trump stated, that a significant part of the provisions of the peace agreement regarding Russia’s war against Ukraine has already been agreed with Vladimir Putin.
“Many elements of the final agreement have been agreed, but much remains to be done. Thousands of young soldiers and other people are dying.”, — Trump noted.
According to him, the conversation with Putin is scheduled for the morning of March 18, North American Eastern Time. Trump also said that “2,500 soldiers on both sides die every week in the war”, but did not cite the sources of this information.
“I look forward to a telephone conversation with President Putin,” he added.
It will be recalled that on March 17, during a conversation with journalists on board Air Force One, Trump announced a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin scheduled for Tuesday.
