UAH 281 million was received by farmers as part of the government grant program for supporting small and medium-sized businesses “eRobota”

9.7 million hryvnias were granted to two more agricultural enterprises within the framework of the government grant program for supporting small and medium-sized businesses “eRobota”. Since the beginning of 2024, more than 280.9 million hryvnias have already been paid to 65 producers. In particular, 47 farms received 193.4 million hryvnias for the development of gardens, and another 87.5 million hryvnias were directed to 18 enterprises for the development of greenhouses.

Since the beginning of the program, 985.9 million hryvnias have been paid to 220 business entities. Of this amount, 730.5 million hryvnias were awarded to 171 farms for the development of horticulture, berry growing and viticulture, and 255.4 million hryvnias were awarded to 49 greenhouse enterprises.

For reference. The government grant program, effective from July 1, 2022, is aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses. Its main advantages include the opportunity to create or develop your own business in areas such as “Your Own Business”, “Your Own Garden”, “Your Own Greenhouse” and “New Level”.

In 2023, 124 orders were issued for grants for the development of horticulture, berry growing, viticulture (407.9 million hryvnias) and greenhouse farming (152.5 million hryvnias). These grants will contribute to the creation of about 14,000 jobs.

Grants are provided in the amount of no more than 70% of the project cost, but no more than 10 million hryvnias. Applicants must cover at least 30% of the cost of the project with their own funds or loans. A mandatory condition is the employment of the necessary number of workers: for gardens from 5 to 10 permanent and 125-425 seasonal workers depending on the type of plantings, and for greenhouses – at least 4 permanent and 10 seasonal workers per hectare.

Financing of agricultural producers under the government program “eRobota” for 2024-2025 is carried out with the support of the World Bank as part of the “Emergency project of providing inclusive support for the recovery of agriculture of Ukraine (ARISE)”.
