Ukraine has created a platform for testing artificial intelligence models based on frontline data
The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine announced the launch of Brave1 Dataroom – a secure environment for testing and training new artificial intelligence models using real data from the front.
The department explains that this will accelerate the development of autonomous systems capable of detecting and neutralizing enemy targets without direct human participation.
“The platform will work on software solutions from the global tech giant Palantir and will accelerate the development of autonomous AI-based systems to strengthen the military”, – reported in ministry.
According to the department, the platform already contains visual and thermal databases of air targets, in particular enemy drones “Shahed”. The list of available data is constantly expanding.
“Artificial intelligence is becoming a decisive factor in modern warfare. In order for Ukrainian drones and defense systems to be effective, they need to be trained on high-quality and up-to-date data. Dataroom is a joint project of the Brave1 cluster, the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Research Institute of Military Intelligence and the American technology giant Palantir, the Ministry of Digital Affairs added.
Ukrainian developers will be able to access data sets after passing the security compliance procedure. You can apply for access via the appropriate link on the department’s website.
In July 2025, Ukraine introduced the Test in Ukraine platform based on Brave1 for testing foreign defense technologies, where developers can apply for testing their solutions in the country.
