Ukraine completed preparations for the second peace summit, in particular agreed on common positions on the points of the “peace formula”. About this reported spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Heorhiy Tyhiy.
“Historical, tectonic processes are taking place now, and the new US administration is coming, and in European countries. The “peace formula” remains the basis of the vision of a just end to the war. That is, it absolutely remains unchanged.”, says the message.
The spokesman emphasized that Ukraine is in a favorable diplomatic position thanks to the completed preparatory work. However, some aspects are still being refined.
“That is, Ukraine, as of now, we can say, is also in a strong diplomatic position, because it has everything prepared. But, of course, in order for this summit to take place, for it to be effective, preparation is needed. That is, the terms announced were indicative , and Ukraine always tries to do everything as quickly as possible, as you know.” Tykhy noted.
It will be recalled that in June of this year, Ukraine held the first peace summit in Switzerland. In September, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that work on the following points of the “peace formula” is ongoing.
