Ukrainian airline SkyUp opens flights from Poland
From the end of May, the Ukrainian airline SkyUp Airlines will start regular flights not only from Moldova, but also from Poland. About this reported the press service of the company.
Flights will be made from two Polish cities — Warsaw and Katowice — to popular summer destinations: Heraklion (Crete), Larnaca (Cyprus) and Burgas (Bulgaria).
“After the successful launch of flights from Moldova, we continue to expand our presence in Europe – SkyUp now also flies from Poland. This is an important step that makes our flights even more affordable for travelers from Central Europe and the western regions of Ukraine. New direct routes to Greece, Cyprus and Bulgaria, launched just before the summer, are a great opportunity to plan a relaxing holiday, a business trip or a weekend at sea.” — noted Dmytro Sierukhov, CEO of SkyUp Airlines.
Prices for one-way tickets start from 69 to 110 euros, depending on the route. The company notes that Polish airports are located near the western region of Ukraine, which creates additional opportunities for the travels of Ukrainian passengers who can reach Warsaw or Katowice by land. SkyUp is currently the only Ukrainian airline that operates regular flights thanks to its subsidiary SkyUp MT, registered in Malta. The main base of the company is Chisinau.
We will remind that in April, SkyUp started regular flights from Chisinau, announcing a large-scale program of flights from the capital of Moldova. Destinations include Alicante, Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, Heraklion, Larnaca, Lisbon, Nice, Palma de Mallorca, Paris, Prague, Thessaloniki and Stockholm.
