Ukrainian Defense Forces Hit Strategic Russian Long-Range Space Communications Facility

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have launched new strikes on important Russian military facilities in the temporarily occupied territories. The results of the operation were reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 2.

“As part of successive measures to reduce the combat potential of the Russian aggressor, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces on the night of March 2 struck a long-range space communications center in the area of ​​the village of Vityne and the Podleot-K1 radar station near Vinogradne in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian Crimea,” the General Staff noted.

In addition, over the past 24 hours, the Kasta 2E2 radar station near the settlement of Lyubime, as well as the Yastreb A-B radar station near Topoliv, were hit in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region.

“Our units also struck, in particular, the concentrations of manpower of the Rubicon electronic intelligence unit in the areas of Kermenchik (TOT of Donetsk region) and the settlement of Kinski Rozdory in the TOT of Zaporizhzhia region,” the military added. department.

The strikes became part of a systematic effort to reduce the capabilities of Russian troops in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
