Ukrainians declared 532.5 million hryvnias of tax rebates before returning them from the State Budget
In January – August, 89,800 citizens used the right to a tax discount. Before the return from the budget, 532.5 million hryvnias of personal income tax was declared, which is 98 million more than in the same period last year. This was reported by the State Tax Service.
Ukrainians most often included in the tax deduction expenses for paying for education, insurance, pension contributions, as well as mortgage interest.
“In order to take advantage of the right to a tax discount, it is necessary to submit a tax declaration on property status and income to the controlling body in which you are registered by December 31, 2025, noted the DPS.
Confirming documents should be attached to the declaration: copies of receipts, checks, payment orders, contracts for the provision of services, documents on the degree of kinship, passport and others.
The declaration can be submitted in person to the DPS body at the place of registration, through an authorized person, sent by mail with a notice of delivery and a description of the attachment, or submitted electronically through the electronic account of the payer.
