“Ukrposhta” introduces new benefits for rural residents
“Ukrposhta” introduces new benefits for residents of rural areas, which include discounts on service payments and free cash withdrawals. About this it is said in the company’s message.
From now on, the fee for any payments in stationary and mobile branches located in villages will be only 15 hryvnias. In addition, “Ukrposhta” provides free cash withdrawals from bank cards in rural stationary branches.
“This step is aimed at reducing the financial burden on Ukrainians in the villages and improving access to basic financial services. Currently, only 4.3% of settlements in Ukraine have a bank branch or an ATM.”, says the message.
According to the company, in May, about a million rural residents used its branches to make payments. It is expected that thanks to the new conditions, customers will be able to save up to 5 million hryvnias every month. The reduced fee is applied automatically, without limits on the number of transactions, and will be valid until September 1, 2025.
The possibility of free cash withdrawal in rural inpatient branches will be available until September 30, 2025 for those residents who have made at least two any payments, except for charitable contributions. Previously, a commission of 2% of the withdrawal amount (but not less than 10 hryvnias) was charged for this operation.
The amount of one cash withdrawal transaction can be from 50 to 30 thousand hryvnias. “Ukrposhta” also reminded about the daily limit for cash withdrawals set by the NBU – 100,000 hryvnias. Visa, MasterCard and Prostir cards are accepted for payment.
