“Ukrzaliznytsia” opened access to the monitoring of tickets with self-purchase in the mobile application  

“Ukrzaliznytsia” has expanded the functionality of its mobile application, giving all Ukrainians access to the ticket monitoring service with the possibility of automatic redemption.

Now, users authorized through “Action.Signature” can not only buy tickets online, but also monitor the availability of seats on trains that are already on sale, or receive notifications about the appearance of tickets for certain destinations.”, – reported in the press service of the carrier.

Monitoring is available in two modes:

  • Train monitoring: The user can select a specific train and monitor the availability of free seats. If you activate the auto-repurchase function, the system will automatically buy tickets when they appear.
  • Monitoring by direction: The user can select two cities, and the system will send notifications about the appearance of tickets for trains running between them.

To activate the auto-redemption function:

  • The user must enter passenger data and pay for the order.
  • When the function is activated, funds will be withdrawn immediately.
  • If the monitoring is canceled or the required tickets are not found, the funds will be returned to the card automatically.

Importantly:

  • Monitoring and automatic ticket purchase are not available for trains to/from Poland (except Intercity+) and the direct Kyiv-Vienna train.
  • However, you can receive notifications about the opening of ticket sales for these destinations.

To receive notifications:

  • Make sure that push notifications are enabled in your profile in the Ukrzaliznytsia mobile application.

This new function will make life easier for Ukrainians planning to travel by train. Thanks to the monitoring of tickets with self-purchase, you can easily find and buy tickets for the desired train, even if the seats on it run out quickly.
