US borrows Ukrainian warfighting experience that changed modern combat: Driscoll

US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll said that the United States is adopting Ukrainian experience in approaches to warfare. In particular, it is about innovations. This is reported by Clash Report.

Driscoll spoke in Congress at a meeting of the US House of Representatives Appropriations Committee. This was his first testimony after Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth forced the resignation of Army Chief of Staff General Randy George.

Other topics were also raised during the hearings, including the issue of Ukraine. Driscoll stressed that the US military supported the Ukrainian military and “stood shoulder to shoulder from the very first day of the war.”

He also noted that he had visited Kyiv and spent a lot of time with representatives of the Ukrainian leadership. According to him, the US is studying and borrowing from the Ukrainian experience.

“They have fundamentally changed the way people fight conflict (war – ed.). They have done an absolutely amazing job in the field of innovation, and I have stated publicly that we are learning a lot from them and implementing a lot of the lessons they have given us,” ‒ said the US Army Secretary.
