US expresses support for Zelensky’s Victory Plan

The United States of America continues to discuss the details of the “Victory Plan” of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, but has already expressed its support for this initiative. About this stated White House National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby during an Oct. 18 briefing.

Kirby emphasized that US President Joe Biden highly appreciated Zelenskyi’s visit to Washington, during which the Ukrainian head of state presented his Victory Plan. According to Kirby, the American side is still studying the details of this plan, so he refrained from commenting on its individual aspects. However, he clearly stated that the US supports Zelenskyi’s initiative to achieve a just peace.

According to Kirby, it is very important that this peace be recognized by President Zelenskyi and the Ukrainian people.

We will remind that Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented his Victory Plan to the US President back in September during his visit to Washington. This was one of the main goals of his trip.

The head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, also assured that the American military will do everything possible to support the achievement of the goals of this plan in the context of the war with Russia. Speaking at a press conference after the meeting of NATO defense ministers in Brussels, Austin emphasized the importance of joint efforts for Ukraine’s victory in the war.
