US prepares for possible evacuation of its citizens from Lebanon due to tensions between Israel and Hezbollah

The United States of America has begun preparations to evacuate its citizens from Lebanon in the event of an escalation of the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.

For according to US officials, the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp and Marines have already arrived in the Mediterranean for increased military presence and possible intervention.

The special forces employed are designed to encourage possible regional escalation and ensure the safety of American citizens. The previous episode of the evacuation of Americans from Lebanon took place in 2006 during the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. Today, about 86,000 Americans live in Lebanon.

An NBC News source said the US is seriously concerned about the possibility of an Israeli ground attack on Lebanon in the coming week. The Washington government is trying to deter Israel from further military action, but Tel Aviv, according to its plans, intends to create a buffer zone on the border to protect northern Israel from elements of Hezbollah attacks.

Due to these risks, the US has begun coordinating with its allies regarding possible military operations and the evacuation of its citizens.
