VAKS assigned developer Molchanova a deposit of 100 million hryvnias

The Higher Anti-Corruption Court set a bail of 100 million hryvnias for the developer and founder of Stolitsa Group Vladyslava Molchanova. The court only partially satisfied the petitions of NABU and SAP, which insisted on a bail of 300 million hryvnias and additional restrictions. This is reported by the Anti-Corruption Center.

According to the court’s decision, Molchanova is assigned a number of obligations: she must appear when summoned, not contact witnesses, inform about a change of place of residence or work, not leave the borders of the Kyiv region and hand over foreign passports for safekeeping. NABU detectives and SAP prosecutors also demanded that she be banned from moving, but this demand was not supported by the court.

In the courtroom, Molchanova stated that she did not intend to pay bail. Previously, when it came to the 300 million hryvnias demanded by the detectives, she called this amount disproportionate, stressing that even for embezzlement of budget funds, bails are usually set ten times smaller. She also emphasized that she plans to continue fulfilling her social obligations and is ready to provide personal guarantees.

Molchanova is accused of participating in a scheme to appropriate 18 hectares of state land near the “Stolichnyi” market. on Ring Road in Kyiv. According to the investigation, in 2021 she had a conflict with former People’s Deputy Yuriy Ivanyushchenko for control of this market. As a result of changes in the State Geocadastre, the land plots became the property of structures related to Molchanova.

According to NABU, the market value of these plots exceeds 160 million hryvnias. The case also includes persons under the control of the defendants and the former head of the regional office of the State Geocadastre. All of them have been charged with suspicion under articles related to the appropriation of property and the legalization of illegal income.
