Verkhovna Rada Committee recommends that parliament support Poroshenko’s suspension from participation in meetings

The Committee on Rules of Procedure recommends that the Verkhovna Rada adopt a decision to suspend People’s Deputy and leader Petro Poroshenko from participating in the meetings of the 13th session of the Parliament. About this reported deputy Iryna Gerashchenko.

“The regulatory committee recommended the Verkhovna Rada to make a decision to suspend P. Poroshenko from plenary sessions for half a year. For the entire 13th session. The servants and the OPZZH voted for it. Well, the servants are creating a parliamentary crisis and disrupting the European integration of Ukraine. The servants voted for this and OPZZ. OPZZ in the VR hall do not scare them, 3 abstained, 1 against”. – says the message.

We will remind that earlier the party “European Solidarity” published a statement in which it claimed that the Office of the President of Ukraine exerts pressure on the party and its leader. The document stated that representatives of “Servant of the People” were instructed to block Poroshenko’s parliamentary activities and deprive him of the right to participate in the meetings of the next session.

The reason for the appeal to the regulatory committee was the complaint of People’s Deputy Nikita Poturaev, who demanded the removal of Poroshenko due to allegedly insulting statements made to deputy Bohdan Yaremenko in a private dialogue.
