Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced personnel decisions after the audit of state-owned companies
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that personnel decisions will be made after an audit of state-owned companies. He said this declaredafter a meeting with Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko.
“We have determined that the timing of inspections should be prompt, and all results should be sent to law enforcement and anti-corruption agencies for appropriate response. Personnel decisions will also be made taking the results into account.”, the president stated.
In addition, the government must promptly inform Ukraine’s international partners about the results of the inspections and the appropriate steps. Zelensky and Svyrydenko also discussed personnel changes: the Prime Minister will nominate candidates for the positions of Minister of Energy and Minister of Justice.
Yulia Svyrydenko also reported on the implementation of support programs for frontline and border communities – the necessary funding is being provided. A new winter support program for citizens will start tomorrow, and the government will officially publish all its details. Last year, more than 14 million Ukrainians used winter support, and this year the state plans to provide no less assistance.
As a reminder, on November 13, Svitlana Grinchuk and Herman Galushchenko filed for dismissal after the National Anti-Corruption Bureau published the materials of the “Midas” case regarding corruption, particularly in the energy sector. Currently, Deputy Minister Mykola Kolisnyk will act as Minister of Energy after Grinchuk’s dismissal.
