Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has cut short his visit to the United States due to deteriorating health. About this informs RTS.
“Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic suddenly fell ill during a visit to the USA, after which he sought medical help and after an examination decided to return to Serbia and is now on his way to Belgrade.” – the message says.
Vuchich felt his condition worsen in the early afternoon local time. At that moment, he was in the room where he was preparing for further meetings after talks with congressmen Claudia Tenney and Rod Blagojevic, as well as Serbian businessmen from the United States. Together with the president, Finance Minister Sinysha Mali and Media Relations Advisor Suzana Vasylievich were in the room.
The Serbian president’s office is not releasing details about his condition at this time, but has promised to provide additional information in the near future. Vucic arrived in the US on April 30 to hold meetings with representatives of the Republican Party and US President Donald Trump.
Before the premature end of the trip, he managed to hold conversations with Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, who took the initiative to introduce a new holiday in honor of Trump, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, as well as with Serbian businessmen living in the USA.
We will remind that in 2019, Vučić was already hospitalized due to heart problems.
