Germany has identified several regions and camps that can accept Ukrainians, but the possibility of choosing a place of accommodation is very limited. Camps for displaced persons in Germany work around the clock as initial reception points, they decide to which region refugees will be sent. As a rule, Ukrainians stay in the region where they came. If the places in this region are already full, they can be redirected to another.
You can choose another place for accommodation only at the time of entry, after registration, the immigrant will not be accepted in other regions, so you should choose the one that is convenient to get to.
Refugees are obliged to live in the territory for which they are fixed, and a special document and valid reasons are required to move.

- Karlsruhe (address: Durlacher Allee 100, 76137 Karlsruhe) – The point is open, but distributes refugees to other regions. From January 2024, it accepts people in their own transport, but animals larger than a cat are not allowed.
- Messstetten (address: Geißbühlstraße 51, 72469 Meßstetten) – The point is open, but due to overcrowding, distributes refugees to other federal states. Transportation is limited and pets are not allowed. Admission will be closed on September 13, 2024.
- Freiburg (address: Basler Landstraße 16, 79111 Freiburg) – The point continues to receive refugees, but often redirects them to other regions. Reception with small pets is allowed. From September 30, 2024, the point will stop accepting Ukrainians, and the conditions may change.
- Bavaria
- Munich (address: Dachauer 122a, 80637, Munich) – The point does not accept refugees with pets due to overcrowding in the region. The distribution of refugees is carried out within the region.
- Berlin
- Crucible (former airport) – For car owners: leave your car in the parking lot and use the P3 bus. For those arriving by public transport: trains from Eastern Europe arrive at Berlin-Gesundbrunnen station; then you need to get to the station Berlin-Jungfernheide by city train, from where buses will take you to the reception point.
