The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, held a meeting with the heads of foreign diplomatic institutions of Ukraine, at which he announced the creation of a new “Ministry of Unity” that will take care of all Ukrainians living abroad.

Tasks of the new ministry
According to the president, the main task of the new institution will be to strengthen ties of Ukrainians abroad with their homeland, as well as to protect their common interests. The Ministry will promote the unity of Ukrainians in various countries and counter Russian influence.
“This ministry will become an important tool for supporting our diaspora and countering Russian propaganda abroad.”, — noted Zelensky.
In addition, the president announced the decision to open new consulates of Ukraine in France, Bulgaria, Poland, Germany, Italy, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, which will contribute to even greater support for Ukrainians abroad.
