Zelensky imposes sanctions against Russian propagandist artists and military enterprises

On June 20, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi introduced sanctions against Russian propagandists-artists and military enterprises. About this it is said in the decree published on the website of the President of Ukraine.
The new package of restrictions is aimed at persons involved in the development and production of unmanned aerial vehicles — such as Geran, Orlan-10, SuperCam, FPV systems, as well as suppliers of Alabuga Machinery LLC. The sanctions also apply to companies that import and supply components to the sanctioned JSC “Kronstadt” for the production of Banderoli, as well as those that participate in schemes to circumvent sanctions when importing dual-purpose goods.
In total, 56 individuals and 55 legal entities are included in the new sanctions list. Most of them are Russian artists, poets and musicians who spread Russian propaganda.
A number of restrictions have been imposed, including: freezing of assets, deprivation of state awards, restriction of trade operations, prevention of capital withdrawal, suspension of economic and financial obligations, as well as a ban on the purchase of land plots.
We will remind you that on June 19, Volodymyr Zelenskyi held a meeting on strengthening the sanctions policy against Russia, during which several important decisions were approved. In particular, full coordination of Ukrainian sanctions with restrictions introduced by international partners, in particular the European Union, was discussed.
