Zelenskyy approved a plan for the transition to a new organizational structure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi passed the plan to reform the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which provides for the transition to a new organizational structure and the formation of corps.
“The head reported on the modernization of our army – the appropriate plan for the transition to a new organizational structure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the creation of corps has already been approved. We are keeping our attention on this – until implementation. The corps system is needed.
We discussed today the approaches to the appointment of corps commanders: they should be the most trained, most promising officers with combat experience and modern thinking. The army must be modern. And the main thing is to value people. Relevant decisions will be made public.” – said the president.
Zelenskyi also said that on Monday he held a meeting of the Stavka, where they discussed the issues of energy and protection of the power system. According to him, Russian troops are carrying out strikes, adapting them to the capabilities of Ukrainian defense.
