President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi with his wife Olena have arrived with an official visit to the United Arab Emirates.
“An official visit with the first lady to the United Arab Emirates. The priority is to get even more of our people back home from captivity. And also investment and economic partnership. A big humanitarian program,” – said the president.
The UAE has repeatedly acted as mediators between Ukraine and Russia during the exchange of prisoners of war and other detainees. In addition, this Arab state helped return Ukrainian children to the territory controlled by Kyiv.
We will remind that earlier Deputy Prime Minister Yuliya Svyridenko reported that the government delegation is working on the organization of President Zelensky’s visit to Saudi Arabia. He is expected to meet with about a hundred local businessmen during the trip.
