Zelenskyy voiced key issues of discussion at a meeting in the Ramstein format
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, in his evening address on January 4, announced details of preparations for the next meeting in the “Ramstein” format, which will take place on January 9. For him in words, this meeting will be an important stage in the coordination of international military aid for Ukraine.
Zelensky noted that dozens of partner countries that continue to support Ukraine in its resistance to Russian aggression are scheduled to participate in the meeting. Special attention will be paid to issues related to strengthening the country’s defense capabilities. The President emphasized that among the topics of discussion will be the strengthening of defense against missiles, as well as countermeasures against guided aerial bombs and Russian aviation.
“We will talk to our partners about increasing our defense capabilities, convince them of the need for help in this area. Life needs protection here and now, so air defense systems must work effectively.” Zelensky emphasized.
The President also expressed his gratitude to all partner countries that are already helping Ukraine in the development of its “air shield”. He noted that against the background of continued Russian attacks, cooperation with international allies remains a key element of ensuring the security of Ukrainian citizens.
The meeting in the Rammstein format is an important platform for discussing further actions of the international coalition aimed at supporting Ukraine in its struggle for sovereignty. The results of this meeting are expected to help define new areas of cooperation and strengthen the country’s defense capabilities in the coming months.
