11 people injured in Russian drone strike in Kharkiv

Russian troops struck the Kyiv district of Kharkiv with the help of the “Molniya” unmanned aerial vehicle. According to preliminary data, 11 people were injured, including three children, including a 5-month-old baby. About this reported Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov.

“An enemy unmanned aerial vehicle of the “Molniya” type hit near an apartment building in the Kharkiv district of Kyiv. Unfortunately, people were injured. All relevant services are working on the spot.”, says the message.

Oleg Sinegubov, head of OVA clarified, that the number of victims is 11 people. Currently, five of them, including two children, are in the hospital under the supervision of doctors. Qualified medical assistance is provided to all victims.

As a result of the attack, a car and window glazing in one of the houses were damaged. Under the procedural leadership of the Kyiv District Prosecutor’s Office of Kharkiv, a pre-trial investigation into the fact of a war crime has been initiated (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As a reminder, on August 1, two men, aged 62 and 64, were wounded in the village of Tokarivka, Dergachiv community, Kharkiv region, as a result of dropping ammunition from a drone. The injured were hospitalized. In addition, Russian troops shelled the village of Lisna Stinka in the Kupyan district. A 75-year-old woman died as a result of the attack.
