AMCU fines three companies over UAH 26 million for collusion in state military procurement
The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) adopted a decision recognizing that three limited liability companies — Coltrain LLC, Businesscom LTD LLC, and Prolog Service LLC — committed anticompetitive concerted actions. For these violations, the companies were fined a total of over 26 million hryvnias.
The violations concern manipulation of the results of tenders conducted by the state enterprise of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine “State Operator of the Rear”. The subject of the procurement was covers for field flasks and combat pouches with an expected value of over 150 million hryvnias.
The Committee established that these enterprises had agreed on the terms of participation in the tender. Thanks to such concerted actions, competition was completely eliminated, which led to distortion of the results of procurements for goods that are critically important for security and defense needs. For violation of the law, fines were imposed on the companies in the total amount of 26,867,392 hryvnias.
On November 20, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine recognized the actions of LLC “NKF “Agronaftaservice” and LLC “Revelininformatization Group” for violating competition law in the form of anti-competitive concerted actions to distort the results of bidding and imposed a fine of 4.5 million hryvnias.
