2.6 billion hryvnias confiscated from online casino “Pin-Up” were transferred to the State Budget: General Prosecutor’s Office
The seized assets in the amount of 2.6 billion hryvnias, confiscated from the online casino “Pin-Up”, were transferred to the State Budget of Ukraine. This was reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office.
“Today, in order to implement the decision of the Shevchenkivskiy District Court of Kyiv regarding the application of special confiscation to LLC Ukr Game Technology, which entered into force, ARMA and the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine transferred UAH 2.6 billion to the state budget of Ukraine as part of the special confiscation, – says messages.
Prosecutors of the General Prosecutor’s Office proved the guilt of the director of this casino in court. By the verdict of the Shevchenkiv District Court of Kyiv, he was sentenced to five years in prison with a probationary period of three years, and a special confiscation of the funds of the company headed by him was applied.
Let us remind you that in February 2025, employees of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) detained the director of a company operating in Ukraine under the online casino brand “PIN-UP”. As part of the investigation into its activities, SBI investigators and prosecutors of the Prosecutor General’s Office, together with the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine, established the facts of the cooperation of the company’s representatives with the aggressor state.
The online casino’s connections with representatives of the Russian Federation, entities subject to sanctions in Ukraine, as well as financial flows directed to filling the budget of Russia and supporting activities related to armed aggression against Ukraine have been documented. The DBR employees conducted a complex of investigative and technical measures with the participation of experts, who confirmed that the use of the services of this online casino had a negative impact on the combat effectiveness of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
In addition, it was established that persons associated with the online casino carried out economic activities on the territory of the so-called “LPR”, actually filling the budget of the enemy. The same casino, as the investigation found out, continues to function on the territory of the Russian Federation and on Russian web resources.
The Shevchenkiv District Court of Kyiv passed a decision on special confiscation, charging UAH 2.6 billion to the state budget from a company operating in Ukraine under the PIN-UP online casino brand. The SBI emphasized that this is the “biggest special confiscation of money in history”.
