“30-40% of the work of the TCC can be transferred to the online mode”: Oleg Simoroz

The reduction of bureaucracy and the transition to digital technologies are becoming more and more relevant in all spheres of life, in particular in military commissariats. Oleg Simoroz, veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war and public and political figure expressed the opinion that 30-40% of the work of territorial picking centers (TCC) can be transferred to the online mode, reducing the burden on personnel. However, certain tasks will still require human intervention, especially in the context of current warfare.
With the development of technology and the introduction of digital solutions, many processes in military commissariats can be automated. Oleg Simoroz noted that about 30-40% of TCC tasks can be performed online, which will significantly simplify bureaucratic procedures and reduce the time of processing requests. In particular, this applies to document processing, registration, counseling and social support. These processes can be integrated into special applications and online platforms available to citizens at any time. The transition to digital platforms will not only reduce the burden on TCC employees, but will also provide convenience for conscripts and veterans. For example, persons removed from military registration, veterans and those with health problems will be able to resolve their issues remotely, without leaving home. This will avoid queues, reduce the risk of infection during pandemics and increase the efficiency of commissariats.
Despite all the advantages of digitalization, there are a number of tasks that still require human intervention. Oleg Simoroz emphasized that such processes as the delivery of persons who evade service, conducting military medical commissions, determining the place of service and general assessment of needs cannot be fully automated. These tasks require the physical presence, experience and professionalism of TCC employees. Simoroz noted that this approach will remain relevant for a long time, especially in wartime conditions. In the context of digitization and automation of TCC work, it is also important to reform mobilization bodies. This will make it possible to adapt to new challenges and ensure the efficiency of the system. The reform should cover not only technical aspects, but also organizational changes, training of personnel, improvement of working conditions and improvement of employee motivation.
Summarizing, the implementation of digital technologies in the work of military commissariats is a necessary step to improve the efficiency and convenience of service provision. However, it is impossible to completely replace the human factor, especially in matters that require personal intervention and professional assessment.
